3 AM
….what th — , where am I — , omg! Fuc — , they’re all dead …
— I gotta get out of here before … … … “Hello?” …
I know something is out there, and I am not going to wait for it to answer back
I grab the knife, Lays chips, flashlight, and map that the Tour Guide Alex had in her backpack and quickly limp into the misty darkness.
I stagger along a stream & spot a cliff that perched itself right over the running river not too far from me. My body aching from the attack needed rest, and that was the perfect hiding spot for now …
12 PM
…Ahh…this foot rub is something I've been wanting to do all day!
Catching fish is not as easy as it seems, I stood still for hourssssss in that river!
But at least I got a few fish to last me for my journey.
And I got to wash up, yay because I definitely shitted on myself — what? I was scared, so that was the best part of my day so far.
Anywho, West ← is where I'm heading.
I remember Alex saying that villagers had to move out West once the Forest became cursed & food supplies shortened.
The villagers tried to please the Forest Spirits by offering their worship but the Forest was already angry with them and wanted human sacrifices instead, so the Forest began to lure the families of this village out into the Forest. Never to be seen again.
9PM
Thank God I am going the right way.
Alex said it was a couple of days away but on my time it's a couple of hours, then again, Alex couldn’t read the map, hence why she’s dead now.
I don’t even think she could read in general…
It’s clear skies so the stars are stealing the show tonight. All of them lighting up the sky in the darkness, “Hey are you doing that for me?”, I wish I could ask. It's like nature always knows how to put a [:)] on your face in dark times.
I wish I could stop and gaze but I don’t want to die out here.

Yeah, um no thanks to whatever that means.

… “Have you seen my mommy”
… “H — Hello? … Whos there?”
I quickly grab the flashlight, startled at the figure that stood in front of me.
The light flickers and flickers as the figure gets closer and closer with its swampy clothing.
FINALLY! — the light snaps on and I aim it at the figure.
“… Alex? —
