The twenty-first century is an exciting period. We try to conquer space, discover new facts about our universe, develop breathtaking technologies, and do our best to deal with incurable diseases. At the same time, some people don’t care about the wellness of our civilization. They destroy cities and kill innocent people. They start pointless wars, which bring only pain, fear, and suffering.

Any aggression should be stopped! However, sometimes the best you can do is just to keep your head up and continue working. Why? Let’s find out!

Your Country Needs Financial Assistance

Wartime is an extremely difficult period for everyone. Nonetheless, it’s important to understand that a country needs not only people ready to fight against the invaders, weapons, and military vehicles but also money. The economics shouldn’t be frozen in order to prevent the country from defaulting.

Thus, there must be people ready to get a grip and continue working. Luckily, many IT companies are able to continue their activity even in wartime. Moreover, they can significantly support their country by:

  • Providing their offices as shelters for refugees;
  • Funding charity organizations;
  • Offering new workplaces;
  • Developing websites and apps for the country’s needs.

On the 24th of February, Russia invaded Ukraine and shocked the modern community. Nonetheless, Ukrainians managed to survive the first wave of aggression. Now, all Ukrainian companies have united their powers to support their country, its army, and people.

For example, some business owners, including Rinat Achmetov, have already paid taxes beforehand. At the same time, many companies have started the production of military supplies, such as bulletproof vests, camouflage nets, and tank traps. Also, some people use their professional skills to repair damaged Russian vehicles and weapons to provide them to Ukrainian military forces.

Of course, it’s impossible not to mention the organizations which support people who have left their homes trying to escape the destruction caused by Russian occupants. The majority of companies located in western and central Ukraine provide the refugees with all the necessary things, including food, water, medicine, clothes, etc. Obviously, the spirit of Ukrainians is stronger than ever before.

27Nerds Joins the Fight against Russian Occupants

Our team continues operating to ensure a constant flow of funds and resources into our country. All members of the company do their best to support Ukrainians. Serhii Gnatchuk, CEO and Co-Founder at 27 Nerds, and his partner Victor Rubych have decided to give 100% of the company’s profit to Ukrainian military forces.

Besides, 27 Nerds has already started running its own charity fund to help the people who have suffered because of Russian aggression. Each member of our team can determine the percentage of their salary they want to be donated.

Finally, the company provides shelter to refugees in Ivano-Frankivsk. We’ve redesigned our office to meet the needs of people who have lost their homes due to war crimes committed by Russian soldiers.

Keep Calm and Work Hard

Ukrainian IT specialists can significantly contribute to the development of our country’s economic and military forces. For instance, if you donate at least $500–1000 per month from your salary to support the Ukrainian army, you may provide our soldiers with important things such as:

  • A bulletproof vest (4+ level of protection);
  • At least 2 personal first aid kits;
  • At least 2 kevlar helmets;
  • A thermal imager;
  • A professional drone.

So, it’s just the right time to forget about all fears and start working. Of course, it may be a challenging task to focus on your duties during such a difficult period. Thus, it’ll be a good idea to follow several useful tips:

  1. Create a list of your tasks.
  2. Stop reading and watching the news every spare moment.
  3. Organize your workplace (in case you can’t work in the office anymore).
  4. Determine your priorities.
  5. Just start working (soon, you’ll enter “the working flow”, and it’ll be easier for you to work without any distractions).

Finally, don’t forget to communicate with your friends, relatives, and co-workers. You may also decide what you’ll do when the war ends. Such pleasant things can cheer you up, and you’ll be working more efficiently.

Conclusion

Today, the whole world unites its power to stand against Russian invaders. We defeat them not only on the battlefield but also in the financial, political and information sectors.

We at 27 Nerds believe that anyone, who appreciates democracy, justice, and moral values, can join this battle. If you want to support the Ukrainian army, you can donate to the following organizations:

Remember that any help will significantly contribute to the victory over Russian invaders.

Glory to Ukraine!!!
