On August 30, 2022, we released 2can Shop 4.8, an important update with redesigned templates of ready-to-use stores. More than 100 of them are available now for your convenience, clarity and perfection! Here is what’s new:

- menu design to navigate by category;
- background image size;
- position of social media icons;
- button to add items to cart;
- cart design;
- search page design.

The cart now has a more straightforward and user-friendly interface. And for your convenience, we made the buttons larger.
The mobile version has also been improved: the cover image has acquired a squared shape, while the name and description of your store are now centered for better readability.
How to Make a Great Cover Image
The cover image is the first thing seen by your visitor. So make sure to choose a high-quality picture that captures the core and nature of your business in the best possible way.
If you already had a cover image, it will be automatically adapted to the new design. This does not always go smoothly, so it would be better to update the image manually. We recommend picking pictures or photos with the resolution of no less than 2320 x 1010 pixels, so that your cover image doesn’t look blurry.
The visual focus should be on the right side of the cover image, because most of the left side will be taken up by the name and description of the Shop. If you want to add some other text to the cover image, place it on the right side to avoid the words overlapping each other.
As in the previous version, you can upload a cover image in the Shop section of your Personal Account.
Updating Product Pages
It’s the same story for the product cards in the new version of the Shop: they will be adapted automatically, but it would be better to change them manually. The images must have a resolution of at least 520 x 520 pixels. This way your visitors can view the product in detail and decide about the purchase.
