Today we’re releasing an alpha version of our Swift runtime for Flare, which allows you to add high-quality animations to your iOS/Mac apps and games. Because everything runs in real-time, you can dynamically manipulate these animations with code.
With some minor tweaks, this should also work for your tvOS and watchOS apps, though we haven’t done any testing with those yet. All our runtimes are Open Source.
This is still an alpha as it’s currently missing some of the latest features that were released in Flare 1.1 (mainly raster support and image meshes).
Check out some examples of what you can build with Flare:
Flare allows you to work directly with assets that run in your final product in real-time. This empowers designers to quickly iterate without the need to recreate everything in code. Check out our website for more information.
