Try out our demo Flutter application on the Google Play store, which shows that Flutter can seamlessly combine user interface elements with glitch-free 60fps animated graphics in real-time. Flutter is Google’s mobile app SDK for crafting high-quality native interfaces on iOS and Android in record time.

The animations are created using 2Dimensions’ animation tools Nima and Flare, both of which export to Flutter. All the animations that appear on screen are running in real-time, performing skeletal animations, deformations, and vector shape manipulation.

Update: the information below is out of date. Since the publishing of this article, we have transitioned to the Open Design initiative.

Nima is 2Dimensions’ raster-based character rigging and animation software, which is available as a 7-day free trial.

Flare is our brand new vector animation tool, which will be available soon to all users for free during beta. The beta will end this summer, at which point Flare will become available as part of the same membership as Nima. Membership for both Flare and Nima will remain at $9/month or $90/year. See more info on our pricing page.
