Toolbar Improvements
We pushed live a few things last night which should improve the UX in Nima. We’ll be making a few blog posts to address these. First up: the Toolbar.
You’ll notice that all the Create Tools are now under one flyout menu. This change should keep the toolbar cleaner, make things easier to find, and allows our tools to grow (more Create Tools are coming soon).
We’ve also moved the Axis Options to the Toolbar, where all the other stage options are located. Moving them away from the Selection Panel keeps the Selection Panel focused on only the currently selected item. The Axis Options are a global option anyway, so they probably should’ve always been here. One interesting note: Axis Options only change your control handles on the stage. They do not affect Selection Panel values, which are always stored in local coordinates (we believe this is cleaner and makes more sense for animation).
