PulsePoint Video
Pleasanton, CA
PulsePoint is a non-profit foundation based in the San Francisco Bay Area. They’re helping to save the lives of sudden cardiac arrest victims by empowering communities to rally their CPR-trained citizens as first responders.
Bystander CPR can double or triple a person’s chance of surviving a sudden cardiac arrest.
Kim and Chief approached us with a strong brand, a proven concept and the desire to describe their apps using engaging explainer videos.
Previous live-footage videos described the significance of PulsePoint’s mission, but the tone may not have been appropriate or engaging to a casual viewer. So, we decided to move in a more fun, upbeat style using animation.
Based on a high-level outline, we developed scripts, storyboards, and final animations.
The first animation explains the overall first-responder platform.
This is Joel. He just suffered a sudden cardiac arrest. He isn’t the only one…
The second video dives into more detail about how PulsePoint crowdsources their database of AED locations.
AEDs. You may pass by one every day and not even notice. But these little guys save lives…
These videos are featured on PulsePoint’s website. If you or someone you know is trained in CPR, we encourage you to visit the site, download the app, and standby to save a life!
Thanks to Kim and Chief at PulsePoint for the privilege to be involved with such a worthy cause!
