In a nutshell

Our new home is smaller than I expected. The living room and bedroom are similarly shaped, two bulbous ovals connected by a sturdy ridge. I stay primarily in the living room, while my wife prefers the bedroom. Our furniture consists of a rounded table and a rounded bed, ovals within ovals. We’re not sure how we ended up in a nutshell.
