There are a lot of great movies that everyone knows, but some great movies aren’t that well known
Over the years, some movies have stood the test of time by doing something different.
This is my pick of movies you all should see.
Fantastic Mr. Fox
A fun stop motion animated family film inspired by the children’s book of the same name.
This movie has a wonderful unique style of humor and visuals.
The creators of this movie also released great movies like The Grand Budapest Hotel and Isle of Dogs.
I especially like the way they swear in this adventure movie. They just say word “cuss” in every context.
Perfect Blue
An old psycho anime about a popular girl who is being stalked. It is full of mystery and moments when you forget to breathe.
I don’t watch anime much, but this stuck in my head for a really long time.
Locke
Film by famous actor Tom Hardy.
In this film, we only see one person and one place. It’s all about one car ride and lots of calls.
It’s all about the acting and Tom did it fantastically.
The Room
If you do not know this art, you should correct it.
The movie is known as the worst movie of all time. During the recording, many actors decided to leave and the funny thing is that the director is also the main actor.
The director is now saying that it was all planned as a bad movie, but I don’t believe him. But anyway I still love him because this masterpiece.
Do not search for information about it. Just watch it with friends and enjoy every scene.
There’s even a movie about how it could have happened.
Alice in Wonderland
Disney has created many great cartoons throughout the years. One of them that I only saw last year is the original Alice in Wonderland.
It is unique in every way. It doesn’t make sense, but everything is done in such an interesting way that you will want to watch it again and again because there will always be something more to discover.
Bonus: Tin Toy
It was 1988, when Pixar was slowly changing the entire film industry. They tried to animate the film with computer rendering only.
Until then, all cartoons had to be drawn, but Pixar wants to do it differently.
But before theawesome animations we see today, there was a long time with less than perfect animation.
This is a short animation that traumatized me when I was 19.
