In Search of the Scent of Good Writing

— Or more excuses for NOT getting my writing done —

Perhaps it’s just me, but I have this strange notion that successful writing is connected to the smell of the room I’m writing in.

Really I do. But then it occurs to me that perhaps it’s just another excuse not to write. Especially when I feel the room doesn’t smell just right.
