Cool Beans in Petaluma

Some of my favorite coffee experiences on our trip were found in unexpected places. For instance, if you’re ever driving through Petaluma, CA, a small city with just north of 50K people in Sonoma County, consider stopping in at Acre Coffee. They have two locations, but we found the Petaluma Boulevard location relaxing and well run. With a roasting plant in the rear, the front part of the space has a sort of Scandinavian modernist meets farm cottage look. The staff was cool, and friendly, and the food was fresh and excellent. My cortado really sang, and we left satiated and ready for the day.
