Delivery

I believe that delivery is the most important, and my personal favorite of the five canons. I think you can have all the needed information and have all research done but if you don’t deliver it in an effective way, the speech won’t be successful. I think delivery ties in with style and it is a way to show your personality through rhetorical speaking. Invention is also very important because it is the first step to a great speech. Memory is not as important in today’s world because of technology. People don’t spend too much time on trying to memorize a speech because it is very socially acceptable not to recite it word for word. Arranging your speech has to do with organization and it helps with not looking messy. After all, I do think delivery has the most power in a speech.
