WCBT-Las Vegas Recap
The award winning World Club Basketball Tournament was hosted in Las Vegas Memorial Day Weekend 2019, this was the first time the event was hosted outside of England.
The community goal for this event was to help fund plans to create Youth Educational Programs that teach the following:
- accounting
- money management
- taxes
- how to build and keep good credit
- establishing a job/career
- nutrition
- self-defense
- learning new language fluent
- financial literacy

Tony Eackles Jr. (21p/9r/5a) and Greg Floyd Jr. (18p) lead Las Vegas Unknown to 78–73 victory over Ballers Heaven United Kingdom.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tomas Sanchez (10p/9r), Tyreek Luckett (10p/5r/4a) helped bolster a strong backcourt also featuring WCBT Champion point guard Aaron Bing (team high 7 assists).
For Ballers Heaven Ben Freeland led the way with 23 points and 10 rebounds.

Day two of WCBT-Las Vegas saw Ballers Heaven UK top Las Vegas Unknown 67–53.
Zach Cassita led all scorers with 28 points (11–26 FG) while playing all 40 minutes for England squad. Ben Freelan finished his strong weekend with 14 points and 8 rebounds.
The defending WCBT-England Champs struggled shooting in Day 2, going 39% from the field (19–49) and 21% from 3PT Range (4–21).
Tyreek Luckett led the team in scoring with 16 points. Greg Floyd Jr. had a close double double with 15 points and 9 rebounds. Reigning WCBT-England MVP Tony Eackles Jr. ended with 15 points, 4 rebounds and team high 6 assists.

This was a successful fundraising event for the community and is a great start for Youth Educational Programs!
