在Spotify無意間聽到了一首不錯聽的歌，發現原來是Maroon 5在10月發的新單曲《Memories》，讓人一聽就喜歡上。
相較於它輕快的節奏，這首歌其實藏了滿滿的洋蔥！《Memories》是寫給Maroon 5逝世的前經紀人 Jordan Feldstein，他陪伴了團員們十餘年的歲ㄕ月，卻在2017年因血栓離世。主唱 Adam Levine說：「這首歌是寫給每位曾經歷過 “失去” 的痛苦的人。換句話說，這首歌獻給我們所有人。」
每個人在人生歷程中，總有經歷過幾段「失去」，可能是朋友、家人、同學、伴侶， 甚至是心愛的寵物。而所謂的「失去」，我想並不只侷限於生命的消逝， 一段關係、一段感情也可能因為各種原因而淡化、消失，而這首歌便是獻給所有經歷過「失去」的人。

這首歌讓我想起了因為意外過世的朋友。
我們畢業之後幾乎沒有再聯絡了，直到接到壞消息去看他最後一面。在這之前從來沒有想過會這樣失去一位朋友，就像歌詞中提到的，我們總以為身邊的事物永遠不會變，但 意外之所以為意外，就是如此突然、難以預測。有時候還是會想起我們之間共同的回憶，高中體育課一起打球、一起玩楓之谷、彼此打鬧嘲笑。
一開始非常難接受這個事實，也流了不少眼淚，但現在時間沖淡了悲傷，我也可以好好接受這件事。甚至有時候在我心情很不好、很低落的時候，我還會夢見他安慰我（總覺得有點荒謬，但好像是他在跟我說，一切都會好的）。
我很喜歡這首歌用正面的態度面對了人生中的「失去」，在痛苦與悲傷過後，希望每個人都可以微笑舉杯敬這一切。
