🌟 Breaking news: Exotrail raises $58M to pursue its ambitions for space mobility

Exotrail, in which we invested at Seed stage in 2018, is a French company focused on space logistics with the goal of making satellite constellations economically and environmentally sustainable. The company offers products for satellite mobility optimizing deployment, increasing performance and reducing space pollution. Products include propulsion systems, mission design software, and in-space logistics services.

Exotrail has raised 58 million dollars in a Series B fundraising round, with the support of new investors including Bpifrance, Eurazeo, CELAD, and all of Exotrail’s historic investors including 360 Capital. The funds will be used to scale-up existing products such as spaceware™ electric propulsion systems and spacestudio™ mission design software, as well as to introduce new offerings such as spacetower™ operations software and spacedrop™ space logistics service. The company also plans to expand its international presence, with a strong focus on the US and Asian markets.

Despite challenging times, the funding was oversubscribed due to the company’s strong commercial performances, which showed steady triple-digit growth in revenue over the past few years and tripled its backlog in last year. With a current workforce of 90 employees, Exotrail plans to hire over 70 additional people globally in the next year. Its customer base is spread across North America, Europe, and parts of Asia, and includes a mix of both commercial and institutional players across the industry, from launch service providers to satellite manufacturers and operators.

🔴🟠🟡 360 Capital is proud to follow Exotrail in its skyrocketing growth since day one!
