💐Bergamotte acquired by Bloom&Wild✨ — 360 Capital

Paris-based Bergamotte, leader in flower and plant online delivery in France has been acquired by Bloom&Wild, reinforcing the latter’s efforts to consolidate into a European leader in online flower delivery.

Bergamotte, in 360 Capital’s seed portfolio since 2016, became a leader in online flower and plants commerce, in France and Germany. After several years of flawless executions, Bergamotte’s business saw an unprecedented acceleration in 2020 (+60% growth year on year) and early 2021 (+100% growth in H1), as the lockdowns fueled e-commerce alternatives.

The brand showed a capacity to grow its initial business — flower delivery — and diversify its product offering to gain new customers and reinforce engagement with current customers.

Bergamotte also showed an incredible capacity to optimize its logistics and supply chain, enabling the sustainable growth of the business. The company also ranks amongst the best performers in terms of CSR practices in 360 Capital’s portfolio, highlighting the evolution of DNVBs towards SNVBs (read our article here).

Bloom&Wild’s acquisition of Bergamotte, following the acquisiton of Bloomon earlier in 2021 shows its ambition to become a European leader.
