365 Days of Poetry
I’ve set myself a literary challenge.
Starting September 1st I am going to publish one short poem a day (one-line or haiku) — on Twitter and here on Medium. For the whole year! Yes, it will be 365 days of micro-poetry.
Will you join me? If the whole year seems too long to be fun, set yourself a shorter deadline. Perhaps a month? Or until Christmas? It’s up to you — it’s also up to you where and how you will publish your poetry. Just let me know in the comments below!
To read my poems, follow me on Twitter: @gosiawrites or subscribe to this very publication!
If you want to join in on Twitter, use the hashtag #365DaysOfPoetry
Looking forward to reading your poems!

EDIT — 01 November 2018
Up until now all poems in this publication were in open access but after the 2-month-long experiment, I’ve decided to lock them from now on. The vast majority of claps and comments come from Medium members anyway so I’ve decided to try to make some small change on writing poetry — since I’ve been showing up every day and I intend to do so till the end of August 2019.
If you don’t have Medium membership but still would like to follow my challenge, check me out on Twitter — I publish the same poems there every day as tweets (unless they are too long in which case I post links to Medium).
Happy reading!
EDIT — 01 January 2019
Although I’m still writing poems every day (save for a few lapse days) I don’t publish everything here. Some poems are showcased elsewhere on Medium — in Chalkboard, Haiku Hub, Poets Unlimited, Lit Up or Literally Literary— to reach a wider audience, connect with new readers and be a part of the poetry community.
Some things I don’t publish yet, saving them for a future chapbook. I’ve also started a visual poetry project on Instagram and Ello, where I connect already published poems with my own artwork or photography. You’re invited to join me there as well!
