365 Days of Poetry

The Very Thought of You takes me back

to that September In The Rain.

You gave me A Kiss to Build a Dream

as “At Last” escaped my lips

But alas, it was All Too Soon.

These Foolish Things I still do,

like wishing you’d Dream a Little Dream of Me

Or that We’d Be Together Again — they need to stop.

“No More Blues,” I tell myself.

“Smile, and be thankful

for What a Wonderful World we live in.”

So As Time Goes By, I have one last thing to say:

I Wish You Love.

Thanks For the Memory.
