We all do it, you are about to interview a new candidate and you do a quick Google search. What does their Instagram feed look like? How many previous jobs have they had on LinkedIn? How many Twitter followers do they have?
This new web service would go beyond the criminal background check and automatically screen for things like:
- How influential is this person on social media?
- Do any of their social media posts cover controversial topics?
- What kind of Meetup.com groups do they belong to?
- What kind of online forums are they actively involved in?
- How well traveled is this individual?
- What percentage of this person’s posts are selfies?
Based on answers to these questions, advanced analytical metrics would determine how qualified a candidate may be for the position.
