365 in peace — The Creator, father, and daughter…
A bright morning. Grace and I just had our booster (coffee for me, milk for her). While she’s still in awe of that milk produced by her lovely mother Bibie WG, or may be she’s just drunk.
While the situation is still manageable, before the first rage of the day, we started our daily Word.
Psalm 3A psalm of David. When he fled from his son Absalom.O Lord, how many are my foes!
How many rise up against me!
Many are saying of me,
“God will not deliver him.”But you are a shield around me, O Lord;
you bestow glory on me and lift up my head.
To the Lord I cry aloud,
and he answers me from his holy hill.I lie down and sleep;
I wake again, because the Lord sustains me.
I will not fear the tens of thousands
drawn up against me on every side.Arise, O Lord!
Deliver me, O my God!
Strike all my enemies on the jaw;
break the teeth of the wicked.From the Lord comes deliverance.
May your blessing be on your people.
She was listening with her eyes wide open. Full of curiosity. “What this big dude in front of me mumbling again?”
I am not sure if she understands those verses. But I’m sure one day she will.
What we learned today:
When challenges arise: pray, do not look focus on the challenge, and wait patiently for the answer while you do your very best.
