Day 1, Ahmed Safi — إليوم الأول، أحمد صافي
I don’t remember the first time I met him, but I know he makes me smile each and every time I see him. I don’t remember the first time I heard him sing, but I remember falling in love with his voice, and his music — and I remember his expression the first time he was on stage and saw me singing along, in Arabic (still my favorite of his songs).
So for the first day of my 366//Days of Music project (because who says it can’t start on Leap Day?), Ahmed Safi.
مفتكرش أول مرة أقبله، بس أعرف إنه بيخليني ابتسم كل مرة اشوفه. مفتكرش أول مرة أسمعه بيغني، بس افتكر اني اغرمت بصوته، ومزيكته — وافتكر شكله أول مرة كان عالمسرح وشفني بغني معه بالعربي (أكتر أغانيه المفضلة لي). فلأول يوم من التلتمية ستة وستين يوم من المزيكة (عشان مفيش مانع أبتديهة في leap day)، أحمد صافي.
