There are two names that come to mind for your captain pick for gameweek 3. A little Argentine fella or Zlatan. This week we have gone for:

Zlatan Ibrahimović — £11.7 (53.8%)

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Man United

A buoyed Man United face off against a stretched Hull City squad. Its hard to believe that a team with only 13 fit first team players can start the league with two wins. Unfortunately, the match against a Mourhino United may be asking too much for Mike Phelan’s men. It would be harsh (and probably unwise) to rule Hull out of this tie completely though. Their 2–1 win over champions Leicester and the 2–0 victory over Swansea in GW2 show their strength. However, three games with a barely changed squad may be too much against a rejuvenated United squad. Hull’s form in the last two games has been impressive, but sooner or later the fatigue will kick in. Time will tell if the lack of depth will hurt them later in the season.

Man United have started to look like a typical Mourinho team already. Zlatan Ibrahimović has wasted no time in introducing himself to the score sheet. He has already netted 3 goals in his two Premier League appearances. You would not bet against him finding another goal against Hull this Saturday. United now have plenty of creative outlets scattered around the park. Anthony Martial assisted twice against Bournemouth, Wayne Rooney assisted against Southampton and Shaw was brought down in the box for Ibra’s spot kick later in the match. Paul Pogba made his first appearance in an United shirt after re-signing for the club. The Frenchman will undoubtedly be looking to at least match the 12 assists he made for Juventus last year.
