How DAOstack uses 3Box to improve the Alchemy UX
Before the holidays, the DAOstack team integrated 3Box into their Alchemy DAO product. We’re thrilled by this integration because it highlights one of the core value propositions offered by 3Box Profiles: to improve the UX of dapps (in this case DAOs) by making the UI more engaging, human, and user-friendly.
DAOs as Next-Gen Social Networks
DAOs are essentially decentralized social networks that facilitate coordination and decision-making in a more open, collaborative way. Importantly, social networks are built around people, but until now humans have been absent from web3 applications. Alchemy uses profiles to highlight who is participating in the DAO, how much reputation (influence) they have, and the actions they have taken. Together, this creates more transparency, trust, and delight in the experience of decentralized, social decision-making for all users. In other words, 3Box profiles bring DAOs significantly closer to mass-market viability.

View a list of DAO members (reputation holders), complete with profiles and social verifications.

View a timeline of historical events that occurred in this DAO, including who took the action and whether or not it was successful.

View and edit your profile directly in the Alchemy UI.
What’s Next?
Alchemy is built on proposals submitted by users. Others users comment and react to these proposals during the deliberation period, and upon conclusion, vote. We hope to continue working with the DAOstack team to integrate 3Box Threads for decentralized proposals, commenting, and reactions! 💬🎉
