You asked and we listened! We’re excited to share the newest 3Box app feature with you — shareable profiles.
Just copy your profile URL and share it anywhere!
We’re excited to announce that you can now share your 3Box profile by simply copying your profile URL from your browser bar, and sharing it wherever you want. Recipients can click your link to open your public profile, and view it in any modern web browser — no web3 needed! 🚀
Previously user profiles were only viewable to the profile owner when logged-in to 3box.io on a web3-enabled browser, and to third-party apps using the getProfile() API method and rendering details in their app’s UI. Now with the addition of shareable profiles, anyone can view your public profile by clicking your profile URL.
We’ve simultaneously upgraded the profile view users see when logged-in to their profile. Instead of one single page containing both profile details and activity, we have separated this information into tabs called “Details” and “Activity”. This change will allow us to continue adding more information to your profile, making your personal digital representation much more rich. We can add more details to the “Details” section without cluttering the single page view and easily add additional tabs in the future for things like collectibles, for example.
