Week 11: Photo Hunting + Mood Board for Interior Project
This week I was supposed to go out and explore the city while looking for inspirations for my interior project, however since the camera on my phone is broken and can only take blurry pictures, I decided to scroll back through my camera rolls and look for old photos I took in the past.
The first two pictures are taken from my trip in Turkey, it is a local restaurant in Istanbul. These actually was taken during the day but because there was not much direct sunlight in these corners, it feels like a nighttime setting. I really like the mood it has and the play between warm orange and dark green colors. When I continued scrolling through my camera rolls, I kept in mind these are the color palette I would like to portray, so then I found this third picture, which was taken at my friend’s house. It is a simple dining situation on his balcony. These last two pictures are shots of two different restaurants in my hometown, Jakarta. I thought the play of lights is elegant but playful at the same time while the last one has a fun element on the curved wall as well as the earthy mood.
