2017 is going to a year of many different kinds of changes. Our new President, Donald Trump is born again and takes a strong stand for Israel, as does our new Vice President Mike Pence. Some of the changes believe will come are going to be great and some will shock people to see these things happening in our streets. But our gage will be the STRONG stand with Israel and with that the church WILL become stronger with a louder voice as it should be.

God has given the church another opportunity to step up to her rightful place, to use the power of HIS Word and tell those that come to their church; No more FEEL good meetings, that everything is alright, when it is not…stop with the milk and give the people some meat of the word!! The church has to start discerning both good and evil in every area. That means where you go, what you watch, the games you play, the words you speak, and the list is long. We must be discerning people.

Hebrews 5:12–14

12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.

13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.

14 But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.

I enjoy the teachings of Rabbi Jonathan Cahn. If you do not know who he his please go to his website or you can listen to him on YouTube. I receive his daily emails which are filled with nuggets because he teaches the Hebrew. This one explains the word Shalom and why it is a powerful word. Enjoy and sign up so that you can receive these as well.

Remember a very powerful word that is spoken in Hebrew is “Shalom”. Here he tells us just how powerful this word “Shalom” is. As our new team steps into the White House and the changes begin remember this powerful word “Shalom”

The first words of the New Covenant that Messiah gave His disciples after His resurrection was, “Peace be unto you.” But Messiah didn’t speak English, so what He said in Hebrew is “Shalom aleichem.” Shalom doesn’t just mean peace. It means fullness, well being, completion, wholeness, perfection, blessing, prosperity, and healing. The Old Covenant was based on trying to get there, trying to live up to the Law, trying to measure up, trying to get to the place God wants you to be, longing for the day of Messiah’s coming. But the New Covenant is based on Shalom. In other words, it’s here. It’s come. It’s finished. You’ve arrived. You can stop striving. You can rest, be well, whole, healed, fulfilled and blessed. Messiah began by saying, “Shalom be to you.” The first thing in the New Covenant is “Shalom.” Not just Shalom, but Shalom to you. But you have to receive it and come into the blessings of the new. Receive and experience all Messiah has for you, peace and blessing in Him. It’s as simple as two words. Shalom Aleichem.

Be a person that wants to have the meat of the Word and not the milk. Make sure that you are receiving the meat so that you can discern both good and evil and rest in the “Shalom of God”.
