Psalm 91:6 Prayer Over Sickness
Our world has rapidly been impacted over the last 2 years with something called COVID-19. My guess is that it has touched every person in the world in some way. My next guess is, we all look at things in a very different way than we did 2 years ago. My next guess, we could all use some good news.
The other day I listened to a teaching by Ken Fish, who is a deliverance minister. The scripture he talked about was Psalm 91:5–6 “Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; 6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.”(kjv).
God gave him an insight into the word plague so Ken looked back in some Jewish Translations of the word pestilence or plague and found that the Rabbis considered that an evil spirit but to be very clear they meant a demonic spirit, a demon, is literally behind all plagues and pestilences. (Hebrew Aramaic Lexicon)
Ken learned this demon had a name and its name is Qeteb, but I will spell it this way to help you pronounce it, Keteb. According to his teaching he has had many people delivered from Keteb (Qeteb) as he prayed a pray of deliverance.

After hearing this teaching and being in the healing ministry this was very exciting to me. A very dear friend and I took the information that was given in the teaching and added some more information that we discovered to our prayer.
This is part of what I found in my studies with Israel Bible Center, Psalm 91:5–6 in Ancient Jewish Translations:
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day… nor of the destruction that wastes at noon.” (Ps 91:5–6,c. 800 BCE)
“You shall not be afraid of the terror by night nor of the arrow that flies by day…nor of destruction, of the demon at noon.” (Ps 91:5–6 LXX, c. 300 BCE)
“You will not be afraid of the terror of the demons that go about in the night…nor of the company of demons that destroy at noon… No evil shall befall you, and no plague or demons shall come near your tent, for [God] will command his angels concerning you.” (Psalms Targum 91:5–6, 10–11a c.400CE/AD
This is so powerful! We have testimonies where people have taken this Psalm 91 prayer and had their spouse pray it over them and some great things have happened. God is so good. His Word is true.
