I’m late to it, I know. Way back in July, the crew from the podcast, “Smartless”, Jason Bateman, Sean Hayes, and Will Arnett interviewed Jen Psaki, the former White House press secretary and current MSNBC host of “Inside with Jen Psaki”.

Psaki was funny and open, much more so than you’d expect from someone fresh out of the White House. She was most revealing on little details, including on how she got the job.

She explained that during the presidential transition period, as hundreds of jobs were being decided, one of Biden’s top advisors, Anita Dunn — “I need it done, right now” dead-panned Hayes — asked “would you be interested in being considered for this job?” That job was the White House press secretary, a job Psaki had been up for before.
