I was pretty interested in toy guns growing up. Not because of the toy itself, but the stories that went along with them.

As a kid, I owned guns, not real guns but toy guns. Being from the Wild West in Wyoming, one of the annual events was Cheyenne Frontier Days. That was a week-long celebration that glorified westward expansion, cowboys, and ranching.




I like 40 Days 40 Writes daily prompts. This is the third time I’ve participated and will be posting my prompt responses here for the next 40 days.
