The Purgatory Before The Flow

It’s sort of like the calm before the storm, but reverse in some ways.

You know that feeling when everything is falling apart, everything feels like it takes a lot of effort to do, nothing quite aligns, and everyone seems to be either arguing with you or miscommunicating?

I call that the purgatory before the flow.

When you find yourself in that place, I urge you to STOP PUSHING!

The more you push, fight back, and resist, the further away from easeful you get. (Not to be confused with resisting oppression or anything like that).

In purgatory, it seems the universe wants us to slow down, open our ears, and listen.

When you slow down, you’ll start to ease into flow — a state where things come rather effortlessly, you get lucky again and again, and you come across the right people at the right time.
