Redo the sealing

Although originally the sealing looks fine from the inside, we decided to have a look below the plastic which turned out to be a good idea because we found moisture and damage from the roof vent leak.

There was also an LED stripe on the sealing which we also decided to remove.

We found moisture.

We treated it with a product that is supposed to kill it and then sanded it.

We decided to replace the plastic with a layer of cork.

Here we are at about 60% of the job done but left the rest for a latter stage.
