January 13, 2016 — Are you passionate about big data and analysis? Do you want to work with cutting edge data?

The Wireless Registry is building a dynamic signal graph of wireless IoT device interactions to enable a broad range of use-cases around identity and intelligence for the Internet of Things.

Our new Data Analyst will ideally have experience in:

  • Applying statistical machine learning techniques to explore large data sets. Experience in SVMs and Random Forests is an advantage. (In-depth knowledge of techniques is not essential, but the ability to compare and contrast different techniques is required.)
  • Using one declarative database query language, and at least one structured programming language.
  • Communicating with non-technical people to gather business questions and requirements, converting those questions into model hypotheses, and finally providing results in a compelling and understandable manner.

We are seeking a driven self-starter able to work well both independently and with a team. Come tell us about your previous analytical work, the projects and problems you have worked on, and why you liked doing it. Be motivated and excited to apply your knowledge and skills to help us build The Wireless Registry.

This is a Washington, DC Metro Area-based position with a great team and flexible work environment. The compensation package is a combination of salary and options.
