4EVERLAND IC Hosting is Released! Decentralise Your Frontend Now for Free on Internet Computer
The recent release of the IC version of the Hosting service by 4EVERLAND means that IC users can now decentralise their frontend! Sounds great doesn’t it?
Let’s take a look at how this is achieved:
In order to host the site on Internet Computer and reduce the complexity of creating canister smart contracts and updating content, 4EVERLAND will first create a new canister for the project on IC that contains the project’s content, code, and files during the first deployment of the site, then finish the first deployment follow-up setup and go live with the site.
At each deployment after then, 4EVERLAND will automatically update the information in this canister. This implies that each site that is submitted to Internet Computer will have a front-end container assigned to it.
Moreover, with 4EVERLAND, delivering static sites to Internet computers is as simple as doing so for Web2 sites on IPFS. For the first time, content is synchronised with our GitHub connection. When you push your repository, 4EVERLAND will pull the updated information and update your Internet Computer canister if necessary.
Excited, this is even FREE!
Tutorial article is attached so you can get started using it right away!
Happy building!
