Step-By-Step Guide for Upgrading 4EVERLAND Domain Binding
4EVERLAND is committed to providing users with faster, safer, and more stable gateway services. Currently, due to our recent upgrade to the gateway service, some users who use Hosting and Bucket may need to reconfigure and bind their domain names to ensure better gateway access capabilities - delete their domain names and rebind them to ensure the completion of the upgrade.
To follow this process, please refer to the following tutorial to complete the operation and ensure the stability of the domain name system.
Rebinding Process
First, check if you have any domain that needs upgrading. You can find this information in the “Hosting Domain List” and “Bucket Domain List”. Any domain that needs upgrading will be indicated with the following notification, as shown in the image below.
Click on the domain to access the domain binding page for the project or the domain configuration page for the bucket. Here you will find a list of the domains you are currently bound to.
Remove the domain that is already bound, next to the domain you will see a small bin icon. Click on the icon to remove the domain. Please double check and confirm the removal of the domain.
After removing the domain, you will need to rebind it to complete the upgrade. On the Domain Management page, enter the same domain name and click the “Add” button. Please make sure the domain name you enter is accurate.
After rebinding, the system will provide you with the details used to verify the domain binding. You may need to make some configuration changes at your domain registrar or DNS provider to ensure that the validation is successful and the domain name is correctly pointed to 4EVERLAND’s DNS servers.
Wait for the domain resolution to be successful, this will complete the upgrade.
After completing the above steps, your domain name will be deleted and rebound, thus ensuring that you can fully enjoy the upgrade service provided by 4EVERLAND.
