The Centre of The Universe

I’m sure everyone has their own story to tell during high school, the story of thinking we are kings and queens, the story of us getting too drawn about thinking we are the centre of everything, and so here I am, writing in Jordan, Middle East, southwest Asia, Eastern Hemisphere, the Earth, the Solar system, the Universe. And in the middle of all of it, is me and my friends because we are the centre of the universe, or what we used to think we are.

We’ve all experienced that ONE student who always raises their voice to get the teacher’s attention, jumps at every question or talks over the voice of every other student, ignores their parents and teachers’ advices and maybe gets too drawn off their friends’ problems because they are no longer concerned for that friend at some point will no longer be or stay in their orbit.

Are you sure you’re not the same person?

Because we really tend to think we are the centre of the universe, we think the world revolves around us only; it’s so hard to believe you are not the centre of everything until one thing happens in your life and shows you, you are not. loosing someone you love and them not being in your orbit anymore can wake you up, and when you realize that you didn’t circle them enough it may hit you then,

it’s actually like our relationship with the sun; we depend on the sun, we depend on it for warmth and light each and every day of our life, and when it’s gone we sleep because we trust that it will come back again, just like our relation with the ones we love or need without even knowing it,

The sun doesn’t go around the Earth, we orbit the sun because we need it and without the sun our world will be so dark,

And here is what funny if you were standing on the moon you will think the earth is revolving around you instead of the other way around it’s really all about perspective when you look at the people you need wither it’s how you look at your teachers , friends or family, because we are not kings or queens

You should stop letting go of your friends and shutting out your teachers’ advices even if they were the ‘everything’ that is circling you a little too closely because they may be what’s holding your universe in place

You can get busy thinking you are the centre of the universe, but you will learn it isn’t always about you in the centre of everything, but the right thing is we need to circle the ones we love and need as long as they are here with us, we need to hold them close beside us because no matter how far we travel, they are the only ones who will hold us in place and it’s called gravity, and without it we won’t be like this, just like planets; they are trying to fly out into deep space, but the gravity of the Sun pulls them into a curved orbit.

We are not what we think we are at all, and again we are not king or queens, we are just tiny little specks in the whole universe.

So here I am writing in Jordan, Middle East, southwest Asia, Eastern Hemisphere, the Earth, the Solar system, the Universe, and in the middle in all of it is where I stand where we all stand, each with our own centre, mine is myself surrounded with the people I love and need,

What’s yours? Or I must say who’s yours?

What’s your centre, your sun, your stars and the gravity that’s holding you in place?
