The Avocado Allergy

I'm slightly allergic to avocado. The ones with brinjal-purple knobbly skins; the green is alright. My tongue swells in places, mostly along the sides at the back, sensitive where it touches my wisdom teeth. My lips tingle, nerve endings dancing across a firewalk. Then it subsides. Sometimes I take a pill to help calm the jangles.
I can’t seem to stop eating: Adding salt, pepper, vinegar, chilli flakes exacerbating the sensations. I know I shouldn’t…
