Ads Worth Watching — Week Of May 9th
Canon, Coca-Cola, Lego, Google Glass Collective
Canon — No One Sees It Like You
Beautifully crafted ad that shows what we see reflected through the eyes of others ‘There are over 7 billion of us on our planet, all looking at the world in our own way. But no one sees it like you.’
Coca-Cola Happiness Arcade
Recycling bottles…one game at a time.
When 15 million people don’t care about recycling, the environment is sure to head towards slow but sure disaster. Coca-Cola wanted the people of Dhaka, Bangladesh to start thinking about recycling with an arcade machine that runs on empty Coca-Cola bottles.
LEGO — Star Wars Microfighters
Surprising that a LEGO ad like this hasn’t been done before. Who hasn’t had this experience with LEGOs at some point.
Google Glass Collective — Seeds
Lovely film, though I will say wearing Glass in rural India is a bit too much of a conspicuous display of wealth no?
This film, shot entirely on Glass, was created by alumni and students from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinematic Arts as part of the Glass Creative Collective. It’s our way of saying “Thank you, Mom.”
NBA — MVPs
Kevin’s Durant’s MVP acceptance speech is turned into a Mother’s Day tribute from the NBA. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there.
