Five things that made me happy today:

1. Finally finished that rascally puzzle. It was a good one. The third one I think from the New York puzzle company.

2. Max and Ruby had a good “schoolish” day — Max researching environmental issues and cars and figuring out how to unlock his old iphone with almost no screen image left and how to transfer his photos to my computer.

3. And Ruby finishing a graphic novel and finding the next one in the series on line. She brought another novel from home and got going on that.

4. I checked off some more boxes on the insure new car/sell old car project.

5. A delayed Christmas gift arrived today — a crazy thing called 30-Second Dance Party. It’s a big button that you hit and it plays loud dance music for thirty seconds. Ruby and I tested it in the kitchen. Perfect.
