FIVE THINGS THAT MADE ME HAPPY TODAY:

1. Rexie the cat has followed me from room to room and computer to computer. I am definitely his person and he’s making me a little crazy. But happy.

2. My favorite handyman came today to install new fire alarms. (Make up your own long story here.) And I just put the old ones in my kitchen trash. About 6 pm one of them started going. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I called the Fire Department. Then I echo-located it in the trash can. Duh. I was in time to interrupt the firemen coming my way (they sent 4 guys the last time) and the dispatcher couldn’t have been more courteous. City services in my city make me happy.

3. Great zoomer with my wisdom elder group.

4. I think today might be the mid-point of the longest year in history. If not, I am declaring it so. And that, my friends, is a cause for celebration.

5. Teed up for tomorrow’s family trip. #6 in the series. I’ll report back.
