Revisit February 6, 2020
5 things that made me happy today:
1. Max and Ruby both home sick today. Yucky + sore throats. Fortunately, they are old enough to stay home by themselves for a period of time and they felt better in the afternoon.
2. Ruby is on a painting spree. I gave her a kit with dozens of paints. I think I bought it at a garage sale. It had a ridiculous small price tag. Then I promptly forgot that I got it or where I put it and didn’t give it to her. She’s probably painting something right this minute.
3. I used the ridiculous heat-up-the-key-with-a-live-flame method to get my car started 3 times today. Think I should take it back in? Dealer couldn’t make it misbehave before! Thanks to
for even thinking of the flame method.
4. I have all my tools and supplies ready for tomorrow’s high-difficulty tasks with my electric tools. — Hanging an articulated mirror, mounting a wooden fireplace mantel surround on my bedroom wall, and about half a dozen pieces of art in various places. The catio placement will wait for a helper. Wish me luck and steady hands!
5. Finishing a binge watch of a really goofy fashion survivor show tonight. Bubblegum for the mind.
