Revisit November 16, 2019

5 things that made me happy today:

1.Prednisone this morning. Impact arrived in a couple of hours. Itchiness gone. Totally. Yay for modern medicine.

2. Crankiness set in at the same time. Fortunately (the happy part) I was with Wisdom buddies and it was just MarySue MarySue-ing.

3. Saw a woman on a skateboard pushing a stroller. That’s confidence. Or craziness.

4. A funny story on NPR about a study that found the role you played in your elementary school Christmas play was a good predictor of success as an adult. I’ll just say I was bossy Mary. Joseph was the guy who grew up to run Shivelbine’s Music Store in Cape Girardeau. Jerry Bullock? He didn’t have a speaking part and the baby wasn’t even his. Imagine what that might do to your psyche. This story was the frame for much hilarity in our discussion about Leadership this afternoon.

5.Another beautiful fall day. Enough said.
