This week, instead of boasting about how I did this or that thing, I’m gonna give you an easy way to participate in this activity yourself.

The news is full of a lot of unbelievable stuff these days. It seems as if we’re in such a state of constant chaos. Without proactively seeking out positivity, it’s hard to come by it in mass media.

Small Victories started a weekly email newsletter that sends you a list of great things that happened in the past week.

Here are a few examples:

  • We’re seeing some of the highest voter turnout numbers in years
  • Texas is lowering prisoner call rates from 26 to six cents per minute, making it less expensive for incarcerated people to connect with their families
  • One of the largest grocery stores in the U.S. announced it will stop providing single use plastic bags by 2025

Read about these positive news stories, and next time you’re thinking (or saying) something negative, you can interrupt yourself with something relevant from the list.
