The Best Burgers in Atlanta

The Atlanta BeltLine is rapidly becoming one of the most popular and exciting weekend destinations, and for good reason. Groups of friends and families come from all over the city to walk, run, bike, or scooter this concrete path, as it’s filled with beautiful art, graffiti, street performers, bars, restaurants, and shops. Options and activities are seemingly endless: grab a beer, walk the dog, picnic in one of several parks, or embark in some retail therapy — you could even do all of the above simultaneously. The BeltLine is so overwhelmingly popular, in fact, that my personal recommendation is to enjoy the trail early on a weekend or during a workday — still plenty of people watching, but you can actually bike or scooter without taking out a touring family of four.

To give you an idea of the pace at which the BeltLine has continued to expand — when I started the ATL Burger project, the “BeltLine” was only one small portion of what is now almost an entire loop around the city of Atlanta, so for the purposes of this burger blog, this section refers to what is now known as the Eastside Trail. The good news is, even with the ever-burgeoning additions to the BeltLine, if you want one of the best burgers in the city of Atlanta, the Eastside trail is still where it’s at.
