Urban Bazaar
1371 9th Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94122

This week I visited a shop located in the Inner Sunset district of San Francisco. Out of all the storefronts on 9th street, this colorful place stood out from the crowd with their eclectic array of locally made art, jewelry and home gifts.
Just by talking with Briana Bers, the warm and welcoming owner of Urban Bazaar, you can tell instantly this shop must be loved by the community. Aside from having a well curated selection of hand made products, they also offer pop up events and fun classes too.
An artist herself, Briana was raised with a respect for nature, and a love for reusing things in creative ways. At her shop she hopes to share her passion of giving new life to older items by creative reuse of existing materials. She also believes strongly in fair trade and supporting local artisans, and feels it’s important to keep hand crafted art alive both here and abroad, inspiring future generations to continue this tradition.
If you’re in the Inner Sunset, stop in, shop local and pick up this week’s drawing. :)
