AVOID plastic tubes. SWITCH to baking soda(toothpaste), silk rolls(floss)

1. PROBLEM

1. TOOTHPASTE TUBES

source

Toothpaste tubes are just NON-RECYCLABLE. Ofcourse, options like terra-cycle exist, but who got the time to collect, pack and mail them?

Also, do you want to brush your teeth with plastic or swallow it? YAAAK

2. DENTAL FLOSS

TONS OF PLASTIC. for a small roll of floss.

2. SOLUTION

Make your own TOOTHPASTE

I assure you that this is not going to be a painful thing to do. Cause I get it. We’re all lazy.

1. EASY (also my very own recipe)
Just baking soda.

  1. Place a little powder onto your palm.
  2. Pour some water and make it into a liquid
  3. Dip the toothbrush in this liquid and scrub your teeth clean.

Simple.

*DON’T SCRUB THE POWDER. Not interested in paying dental bills.*

2. MEDIUM
2:1 proportion of coconut oil:baking soda. (
source)

This is probably the best for your teeth.

3. HARD
2 tb baking soda + 1/8 ts white stevia powder (source)

Hard cause you gotta find stevia.

DENTAL FLOSS

This blog has it all — Beth Terry on Floss

  1. Silk clothing/Silk thread (plan to try this out once I run out of floss!)

2. Refillable dental floss (Brand: dental lace)

3. Rubber gum stimulator. It’s reusable forever!

P.S if you don’t floss. YOU SHOULD. Just google and check why it’s a MUST.
