AVOID disposable razors. SWITCH to reusable (electric/steel) razors.

1. PROBLEM

Err. Not exactly….But pop songs fade away. disposable razors don’t. The EPA estimates 2 billion razors are thrown away each year.

Disposable razors are…. disposable. Try these alternatives instead.

2. SOLUTION

For MEN (faces), women (hands/legs/armpits/what-not)

1. DON’T USE ANY

If you got no hair. Just don’t okay?

Now for the rest of us normal human beings who have benign but cringeworthy hair growth, here are some options….

2. REUSABLE STRAINLESS STEEL RAZORS

Gilette in India or US has wonderful options. By keeping your blades dry after each use, you can prolong their lifetime indefinetely. (JK. Just 2–3 months)

As gillete doesn’t pay me for advertising I shook the image up a bit (on purpose ofc). These are mine. Got them from India to the US cause I’m cheap af. There is some plastic yes — but like chill okay? It’s lesser of 2 evils.

3. SCARY STRAIGHT RAZORS

This dude clearly doesn’t shave. False advertising bahaha. Or he about too? So confusing.

These last a life time, least amount of resources used to make them, don’t have to replace any part regularly! Brilliant. Use this if you can :)

4. ELECTRIC RAZORS

Braun/Panasonic (for women)

I have an epilator and not a razor. But I don’t use it as I’m not a big fan of pain.

5. WAXING (Women) — SWITCH TO BODY SUGARING

https://www.care2.com/greenliving/ancient-egyptian-body-sugaring.html

Cleopatra did body sugaring (totally worked out for her)

At home (if you can do it) or find parlours that do body sugaring not waxing. P.S both hurt af.

5. LAZER HAIR REMOVAL

Permanent. I’m considering this option as shaving using reusable blades is not always convenient + this is for the lazy. However, not sure if it’s safe.

3. CONCLUSION

I want skin as smooth as butter..or a dolphin. Just like you. We all do. But it’s totally possible without burning down this planet.

K Bye.
