Testing Concept with water

We did a test print of the cards rules and played a quick round just to test out the game flow, taking down notes as we went. This helped us figure out what worked and what didn’t work. One of the first things we discovered was the best amount of people to play with, as having a small amount of players meant the same card would get drawn more often meaning it would cancel out previous rules faster.

We also found that a few of the rules did not make sense and were confusing, leading to futher developement of the wording for each rule as well as keeping the tone cohesive throughout but still simple. We also worked out what setup instructions we should include on the box. The obvious discovery was that playing with paper cards were very annoying so thicker material was very much needed.

Rule wording decisions.

After playing the game we changed the wording of a few of the rules, which we then got a group of students to check over them and give opinions about the cards, this focus group testing was vital as they found a few errors and gave us valuable feedback.

We decided to play around with colour just to test it, however these 3d kind of designs would be very confusing for intoxicated people.
