If You Don’t Have Anything New to Write, Learn Something

I bet you’ve been here before:

You get the rush of a new idea. Chills run down your spine. You sprint to your desk and type. The world disappears. Half an hour later, you lose steam. Surely, you have enough words to publish, right?

Nope. Turns out that idea wasn’t as big as you thought. How can you make it long enough to be worthy of publication?

Most writers fluff up paragraphs, repeat themselves, and add extra paragraphs that provide no value.
