Little Pushes Forward
Funks happen.
We get stuck, we think we can’t accomplish anything, we feel nothing at all, or completely overwhelmed.
I think in life we look for the obvious — yet, complicated — solutions first. If someone asked me to drain a pool, I’d grab a bucket and start scooping. It makes sense. It would even feel like progress, for awhile.
But science class taught us all it takes to drain a pool is a hose, differential pressure, and a little patience.
