The Problem With Being a One-Man Show

My cousin Heidi quit the high school volleyball team.

It taught her bad habits.

During the summer, she played the sport with tall, athletic, driven girls only. They were competitive. Heidi was too. (It’s a family thing). Each person played her role as well as they could. Heidi only had to do what she was supposed to do — stay in her spot. Wait for the set. Jump. Smash.
